from Valliant Elementary!
We are
excited to have your child in our school.
I am
Melvin W. Fenley and I have been Principal at VES for 18 years starting
in July 1990. This is my alma mater and I am very proud of our school,
therefore I strive for the highest quality of education our students can
possibly have. We have many beneficial programs that are excellent
for the betterment of our student’s education. We have an excellent
reading program on Tuesday & Thursday after school. We also offer AR
Reading and AR Math. This year we have implemented the Dibels Reading
Assessment program for Kindergarten – 3rd. grade to better
track the reading skills of students in these grade levels.
We have an
outstanding 5th. grade boys and girls basketball team.
Their
games will begin the first of November. Our Next Generation show choir
performs for many school and local engagements throughout the year.
