I pledge myself to
uphold the high purposes of the National Honor Society to which I have
been selected.
I will be true to the principles for which it stands;
I will be loyal to my school; And will maintain and encourage High
standards of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Eligibility
The members pledge to maintain a 3.5
grade point average, (on a 4-point scale), to endeavor intelligently and
courageously to be a leader with high character values, and to give of
themselves freely in service to others. They are ranked high on
character, service, scholarship and leadership by a faculty advisory
committee. |
Project
Our community
service project is the "We Care" campaign. The NHS has 'adopted'
the Valliant House, a drug rehab center for women. Each month we will support this project in various
ways. This month we have collected personnel hygiene such as
shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, lotion and hard candy
to be donated to the Valliant House. (This campaign was also adopted by
the Valliant 4-H club). |
