The
science club consists of all high school science students who are
interested in science.
Next
year we are tentatively planning on hosting a water Olympics
day for our middle school students. They will learn all kinds of
information about the water molecule. This information includes
surface tension, cohesion, adhesion, the different roles a water
molecule plays.
The
A.P. Chemistry and Chemistry classes are planning on having an Magic
show for our middle school and elementary school students next year
as well.
The
science club is interested in starting up a W.E.T. program. W.E.T.
stands for Water Education Training. The students go to a local
river site and test the biological, physical and chemical properties
of the river monthly. At the end of the year they help the parks
and recreation write the end of year report based on our data.
