Abriana "Roo" Suhr was one of 5 VHS Cheerleaders chosen as an All Star this summer at J&C Cheer Camp. Roo is representing Valliant High School this week in New York City and will perform in the prestigious Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Elementary has our Nothing Bundt Cakes ready for pickup today! If your child has an order please come by the end of the school day at 1pm to pick them up.

The Love of Lillian Foundation and DHS are putting on a Christmas Toy Drive to help local children in need.
Valliant High School will be a drop off location for toys. There is a box located in Mrs. Chandler's classroom for all donations.

Today was District STAR events for FCCLA. Valliant had 8 students compete.
*K-Ray Dansby and Kylie Dickenson represented as District officers.
*Andrea Bryant and Haven Fennell place first in Repurpose and Redesign and advance
to Area.
*Danae Jones placed first in Cake Decorating and advances to Area.
*Kacelynn Fegett, Saiti Harmon, and Shandy Strawn placed second in Repurpose and
Redesign and advance to Area.
*Layla Foreman placed third in Career Investigation.
*Joey Drummond competed in Creed Speaking and Interpretation.
7th and 8th grade basketball games today will be held in the Idabel Middle School gym.
Due to the number of staff leaving early to support our Bulldogs in the playoffs, we will be dismissing at 1:00 this Friday, Nov. 15th. This is not a regularly scheduled early dismissal. In addition to supporting our Bulldogs Friday night in the playoffs we would like to encourage you to support our cheer squad in the state game day competition on Saturday.
VHS Game Day Cheer Team has qualified for state in Class 3A Game Day Cheer. They will compete on Saturday at Moore High School at 12:45pm. Crowd Leading is a big part of this competition, so show up and be loud!
