Jenny Ross is a 2007 graduate of Valliant High School. She earned her degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is proud to have returned to the community and school system that first inspired her passion for education. Today, she gives back by teaching Pre-K at Valliant Elementary School, where she is dedicated to helping young learners build a strong foundation for future success.

Brooklyn Young graduated in 2022 from Valliant High School. She attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University as an Honors student, double majoring in Clinical Psychology and English with a writing emphasis. She graduated at Summa Cum Laude in 2026 with her Bachelor of Arts. She will be attending Southeastern's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program in the fall and plans to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC).

Halito! My name is Samantha Stuart Heck, a class of 2018 Graduate from Valliant High School. I graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State University and currently work for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma as a Senior Investigator for Employee Relations. I am a certified Investigative Interviewer through Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates and have also completed Supervisor Trainings through the Choctaw Nation. I plan to continue my education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Organizational Leadership and continue developing professionally through my Tribe!

Jessica Stuart graduated from Valliant High School in 2018. She is the daughter of Jon and Tanya Stuart and Rose Stuart. After working for the Oklahoma department of tourism and recreation for several years, she became a flight attendant for an American Airlines subsidiary and will soon join Southwest Airlines. She currently lives in Albany, New York.

Congratulations to Dr Mara Montenegro, MD upon completion of her residency work. Dr Montenegro graduated from Valliant High School in 2014 and is the daughter of Jon and Tanya Stuart and Rose Stuart. Upon graduation from Valliant, Mara enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, where she completed her undergraduate and medical degree. She then performed her residency training with St Anthony Hospital in OKC. Mara just recently accepted a position with the Mercy Medical Group in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Jaden Moran is a 2018 Valliant High School graduate. She went on to Oklahoma State University to earn her bachelor’s degree. She is pursuing her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

She is currently a third year kindergarten teacher at Idabel Primary South where she enjoys working with all her students and helping them grow in their education.

Jurnee Conley graduated from Valliant High School in 2022 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma State University in May 2026. Through years of dedication and hard work, she graduated Cum Laude and achieved her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.

She is excited to begin her nursing career and looks forward to making a difference in the lives of her patients. Jurnee plans to continue her education in the future with the goal of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).

Ainsley Ann Trapp graduated from Valliant High School in 2022 and went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Biological Health Science with a minor in Health and Human Performance, graduating Summa Cum Laude on May 9, 2026. Ainsley was accepted into the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She will begin the 28-month program in June 2026 as she works toward her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant and serving rural and underserved communities.

Need help with online enrollment for the 26-27 school year? Valliant Public Schools is ready to assist you with this process. Mrs. Becky Luna is our new District Registrar and will be available to assist both new and returning students with enrollment. Mrs. Luna will be available at the Administration Office to help families complete the enrollment process on the following dates or by appointment: June 8 - 9 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and June 15 - 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you need an appointment to come after 2:00 p.m. on any of the above dates, please call Mrs. Luna at (580) 933-7232, option 8 or email bluna@vpsd.org.
