Ainsley Ann Trapp graduated from Valliant High School in 2022 and went on to attend Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant, Oklahoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Biological Health Science with a minor in Health and Human Performance, graduating Summa Cum Laude on May 9, 2026. Ainsley was accepted into the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She will begin the 28-month program in June 2026 as she works toward her goal of becoming a Physician Assistant and serving rural and underserved communities.

Need help with online enrollment for the 26-27 school year? Valliant Public Schools is ready to assist you with this process. Mrs. Becky Luna is our new District Registrar and will be available to assist both new and returning students with enrollment. Mrs. Luna will be available at the Administration Office to help families complete the enrollment process on the following dates or by appointment: June 8 - 9 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and June 15 - 16 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you need an appointment to come after 2:00 p.m. on any of the above dates, please call Mrs. Luna at (580) 933-7232, option 8 or email bluna@vpsd.org.

Congrats Seniors!

Raylynn Parsons of the Valliant FFA chapter competed in the annual JR. Auction camp hosted by the Oklahoma auction school. The contest hosted students from Oklahoma and Arkansas. She placed first in the beginners division. She was also selected for 2200 dollar scholarship to attend a full auction school which would cover all her school tuition and fees associated with the school.

Middle school parents/guardians, the 8th grade diplomas and report cards are ready in the middle school office. Remember that any and all school charges must be paid before you can receive these items. These items may be picked up between 8am -12pm and 1pm- 3pm on Thursday and Friday, 5/28 & 5/29.

Kid governor, Katelyn Talley, held a poster contest in support of her platform bringing awareness to animal abuse. The PreK - 1st division winner was Ava Woods, with honorable mention Tyler Thompson. The 2nd - 5th division winner was Emma Her, with honorable mention Lauren Reynolds.
