Valliant JOM School Supplies Pick Up:
JOM School Supplies will be available on July 22nd and 23rd for pick up from 7:30 am-5:30 pm at the Valliant School District Administration Office. Supplies will be offered to all eligible Valliant JOM students. If you are unable to pick up on July 22 & 23 and need to make other arrangements please contact Linda Coffman by email lcoffman@vpsd.org or text 580-743-6785.

After graduating from Valliant High School with the Class of 2010, Dr. Stephen Bastible continued his education at the University of Oklahoma, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2014.
He then pursued his goal of becoming a physician by attending the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2021 with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
Following medical school, Dr. Bastible completed his residency training through Northeastern Health Systems in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Today, he serves as a physician with the Redbird Clinic through Cherokee Nation Health Services in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, where he provides medical care to patients throughout the region.
From Valliant High School to medicine, Dr. Bastible’s journey reflects years of hard work, dedication, and service to others.

My name is Makalyn Mitchell, and I graduated from Valliant High School in 2019.
After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps and served for four years. After completing my military service, I continued my education at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, where I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in Logistics Management with a minor in Airport Management.
Today, I live in Fort Worth, Texas, where I work for an aerospace company as a manufacturing planner. In my free time, I also coach a select travel softball team.

Dr. Fennell serves as the Frank K. Webb Academic Professional Chair in Communication Skills in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech.
After graduating from Valliant High School, Jill earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Arkansas University, a Master’s degree from Texas Tech University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. Her dedication to education and student success has led to a respected leadership position at one of the nation’s premier engineering institutions.
Dr. Fennell’s journey demonstrates how determination, hard work, and a commitment to learning can open doors to remarkable opportunities.

Colby McGee is a 2011 graduate of Valliant High School. He continued his education at Eastern Oklahoma State College before earning his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University and later completing his master’s degree at Southern Nazarene University.
Colby began his career teaching as a second generation Ag teacher in Allen, Oklahoma, where his leadership and impact in the classroom earned him Teacher of the Year honors. He was later recognized statewide with the Rising Star Award from the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
After moving to Smithville, Colby continued teaching Agricultural Education before stepping into school leadership. He now serves as High School Principal, High School Baseball Coach, and Athletic Director, continuing to invest in students through academics, athletics, and agricultural education.

DeLaney is a Bulldog alumni from the class of 2022. She attained her associates degree in Business Administration from Carl Albert State College, where she played collegiate softball, in 2024. She would then graduate in Dec 2025, Summa Cum Laude, from University of the Ozarks with her B.S. in Finance. She now lives in Durant with her husband and works in accounting for the Choctaw Nation. DeLaney is continuing her education and is expected to obtain her MBA with a focus in Finance in 2027. Go Dawgs!

Hannah Bryant (Nance) graduated from Valliant in 2017. She attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she was a member of the Presidents Leadership Class, True Blue Ambassadors and Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2021. She currently lives is Madill with husband Mason and daughter Hartlee. Hannah has been teaching first grade at Kingston Elementary for 4 years.

Jenny Ross is a 2007 graduate of Valliant High School. She earned her degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is proud to have returned to the community and school system that first inspired her passion for education. Today, she gives back by teaching Pre-K at Valliant Elementary School, where she is dedicated to helping young learners build a strong foundation for future success.
