Veterans Day Breakfast will be in the Valliant High School Saferoom from 8:00-9:00 am on Tuesday. There will be a Veterans Day Program following at 9:30 am in the auditorium. Spread the word to all veterans to come and enjoy.

With a very special thanks to the Valliant High School Alumni Association, the middle school was able to recognize and reward our students and staff for their perfect attendance and character for the month of October. We were able to recognize and reward three (3) students of the month, recognize and reward a student for their perfect attendance, recognize and reward a staff member for their perfect attendance, and recognize and show appreciation to one of our staff members. Members of the Valliant Band program went to all-district honor band auditions Saturday! Carter Bryson, Angel Hash and Kopen Makerney won chairs in the band and will perform with the all-district bands in January at Durant HS.

📣McCurtain County Cheer Preview is tonight at 8:00pm at the Broken Bow Sports Complex.📣
Kinleigh McKeever was one of the 47 students chosen statewide to exhibit a show swine sponsored by the Oklahoma Pork Council, Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Youth Expo. This program is an educational experience where Kinleigh will be graded on her ability to exhibit, keep accurate records, and knowledge about the swine industry as well as carcass traits of the animal. The York Barrow will be exhibited at different shows throughout the winter and spring with the season ending in March at the Oklahoma Youth Expo.

UPDATED GAME TIMES, PLEASE SEE THE NEW BRACKETS: The Valliant 6th grade basketball tournament will be November 4, 6, and 7. The first game of the tournament will begin at 12pm on Tuesday, November 4. All games will be played in the Valliant High School Gymnasium. Admission will be $5. For a list of games and times, please see the attached brackets. We hope to see you there!
The Valliant High School Quiz Bowl team attended the McCurtain County Quiz Bowl Conference awards ceremony and tournament last night. The team finished the year with a 10-4 record, placing 2nd in the conference. The team has two members ranked in the top 10 players in the county: Kai Kimmey, in 6th place, and Quil Gross, in 2nd place. A tournament was also held last night with Valliant placing 1st.
Team members attending were Brayden Hefti, Kopen Makerney, Joshua Morrow, Kai Kimmey, London Newsom, Kort Wood, and Quil Gross.
