Was a great first meet for our JH girls and JH boys teams.


The Valliant Middle School is so proud of our middle school robotics teams for their outstanding performance at yesterday afternoon’s live remote skills meet! Both of our teams represented our school incredibly well, demonstrating teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance throughout the competition. Their hard work and preparation truly paid off, and we couldn’t be more impressed with how they handled each challenge.

So proud of our middle school students (6th-8th) on their academic triumphs. We had nine (9) students place at the McCurtain County Curriculum Contest and receive awards. Kirrah Terry placed 2nd in ELA, Heidi Thompson place 2nd in math, Chase Webb placed 3rd in science, Jagger Prince placed 5th in social studies, Angel Hash placed 5th in ELA, Ava Morse placed 5th in ELA, Paisley Morris placed 6th in science, Chance Huseth placed 6th in math, and Gracyn Blake placed 6th in math.

We are so proud of our talented students and teachers for representing our school so well. Our students had incredible success at the County Trash-Off Poster Contest. The Middle School Division (113 entries countywide) was swept by Valliant students taking the top five places in the 6th-8th grade category with 1st – Sadie Bean (adv. to state), 2nd – Erin Shields (adv. to state), 3rd – Sophia Smith (adv. to state), 4th – Kylie Cline, & 5th – Chance Huseth. In addition, Mrs. Stuart was honored as Middle School Outstanding Art Teacher of the Year for her dedication and leadership in the arts. The High School Division (73 entries countywide) had five top ten finishes with 3rd – Alexis Luna (adv. to state), 4th – Mia Mothersell, 5th – Emily Dodd, 6th – Joesif Phelps, & 7th – Alexis Rivera. We are also proud to share that Mrs. Chavez received the High School Outstanding Art Teacher of the Year award! Way to go Valliant!
