Parents and Patrons, as you may be aware, the state assessment window opened this morning. This year, we are testing more students by computer than ever before. As a result, we have disabled many of our functions that work normally using WiFi such as the Remind Me app. If you are trying to reach someone using that messaging function, it is likely not to work during test sessions. We are sorry for the inconvenience. You should still be able to reach the teacher through email.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however we feel this is the best option for the health of our students and staff. Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 11.

The high school student council will be hosting a week dedicated to raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our goal is anywhere from &2,500 to $3,000. This week will take place February 11th through February 14th. We are also calling this week DAWG week which stands for “Doing a World of Good.” The high school student council will be selling Valentine’s flowers and a few other activities. We would love for every building, organization, or group to do something to raise money for Valliant Schools to send to this worthy cause. If you would like to participate in this, please let us know as soon as possible. Contact Kendra Asbill for more information.
