Outside food or drink will not be allowed in the Bulldog Stadium or Gym this school year.
Also, all children under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The next Band Booster meeting will be September 19 at 6:30 pm in the band room!
FCCLA will hold a cooking camp for elementary students in grades 3, 4, and 5. The cost is $40 and is due this Friday the 6th.
Landi Coulter was crowned Miss McCurtain County last night. Landi is a sophomore at Valliant. She is very active in softball, cheer and agriculture. Congratulations Landi!!
The Valliant Middle School values attendance and wants to reward students who are present each day. Students with one (1) absence or less each month beginning in September will have a chance to be entered into a drawing for a $50 Wal*Mart gift card in December and a TV in May. The more months you have with one (1) absence or less, the more entries into the drawing you receive. As an added bonus, students will be eligible for smaller prizes each month. However, you have to attend school to win!

VHS Student Council and IHS Student Council teamed up to help Bypass Church of Christ gather donations to buy toys for OU NICU at the game Friday night. Over $500 were raised.

Our Valliant JH Fastpitch Team took 2nd place in the Wright City Tournament this past weekend! Losing in the first round, the girls fought back through the losers bracket to take Lukfata to the If game and were defeated by only 1 run! Valliant was well represented by these girls and we are very proud of them!

Bulldog Football Fans,
The home scrimmage Friday Night was a huge success. The football team played with great effort and performed well . The coaching staff wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to Love's Country Stores for the hotdogs, The Woolsey family for the watermelons, and the Valliant Football Booster club for the chips, water, and preparing the food for the teams and coaches. Friday night's scrimmage showed that this will be an exciting football season.
