Annual Title I Parent Meeting to be held on Monday September 23rd, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the Valliant District Services/Administration Building. Meeting agenda includes review of the School Wide Title I Program including curriculum, information on assessments used to measure student progress and to seek parent involvement and feedback. Today the Valliant Band program was awarded a $7,000 grant from the International Paper Foundation. Ms. Lindsey Wright and Christy Bryson from IP are pictured here with the high school band and Mr. McCleskey accepting the grant. Thank you to International Paper for continuing to partner with Valliant Schools to enrich the lives of the students here.

Congratulations to the August Senior Spotlight Students, Kate Boehning and Will Brownsworth! Hello, my name is Kate Boehning and this is my third year at Valliant High School. I am the Senior Class Treasurer and also a member of the FFA and Spanish Club where I sit as Vice President for both. I am also a member of the National Honor Society. After high school I plan on attending University of Central Oklahoma where I will be pursuing a degree in Forensic Science. My name is Will Brownsworth. I have attended Valliant schools my whole life. During my time at VHS I have been a four-year member of the VHS football team, a member of the National Honor Society, as well as a class officer for two years. After high school, I plan to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

FCCLA is offering sewing camp for students in grades 3, 4, and 5. Notes were sent home, but the due date is incorrect on the forms. Registration is due by September 17th; the cost is $30.

This win puts Valliant in the district lead with two games left.
