The Miss Valliant Elementary Pageant is this Saturday at 6:30 in the auditorium. Please come out and support our girls and our elementary for an evening full of fun and entertainment. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

The high school student council will be hosting a week dedicated to raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Our goal is anywhere from &2,500 to $3,000. This week will take place February 11th through February 14th. We are also calling this week DAWG week which stands for “Doing a World of Good.” The high school student council will be selling Valentine’s flowers and a few other activities. We would love for every building, organization, or group to do something to raise money for Valliant Schools to send to this worthy cause. Our VMS/VHS Ugly Christmas Sweater Program is tonight at 6:00 p.m. Our students will be entertaining you with acapella, traditional, comical, and modern songs, as well as dance. We are now declaring an ALL CLEAR condition at the Valliant Public Schools. Students that remain at evacuation sites will be returned to the school. The school will return to normal operation and buses will run at 4:00. Students that were checked out may return to the campus to retrieve vehicles and personal belongings.
Valliant Patrons, The Valliant Public Schools have received a threat that can not be determined whether or not it is credible. As a precautionary measure we are relocating our students to their emergency evacuation locations. Once we are relocated, you may sign your student out from that location. Elementary students will be relocated to the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church; MS students will be relocated to the Sanctuary at First Baptist Church and HS Students will be relocated to the Valliant Assembly of God Church.
Basketball Homecoming is the week of December 10-13th. Our Valliant Bulldogs will play Rock Creek. The theme is “Valliant’s Got Game.” The dress-up days are as follows:
Monday—Battleship Day—battle of the classes-Elementary wears blue, Middle School wears green, Freshmen wear red, Sophomores wear pink, Juniors wear grey, Seniors wear purple, Faculty wears black
Tuesday—Cranium Day—nerd day,
Wednesday—Scrabble Day—dress like something that starts with the first letter of your name,
Thursday—Valliant’s Got Game—orange and black.

As a result, due to the break the Valliant Public Schools will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. We will continue to serve lunch, but we are asking that all parents that can pick up or check out their children please do so ASAP. We will attempt to contact all parents in the elementary and middle school of bus riders to make sure the children are accounted for. Buses will run at 1:00 pm.
